Guide House: Montauk features five fishing guides who spend their days on the water with big-league clients catching striped bass, bluefish, false albacore and bluefin tuna. At nig guide.html ht, the group lives together in the Guide House, hosting guests, entertaining celebrity visitors and sometimes continuing their on-the-water battles.

Featured is nationally renowned fishing guide Paul Dixon as well as guides Brendan McCarthy, Amanda Switzer, Matthew Miller and Bryan Goulart.

This show is about hardcore fishing and the people obsessed with it,” added Jason Puris, the show’s executive producer. “The pressure on these fishing guides to perform is intense and often times, their egos get in the way. We let that drama play out on the screen.”

With round-the-clock cameras rolling, the six episodes of Guide House: Montauk include a high-tension altercation between guides and on-the-water competition as the guides each fish the Redbone Celebrity Tournament Series. “We're not fishing guides because we play well with others,” said McCarthy, who also is the show’s co-creator.
